In bolt cuts we will cut either full cuts (the width of the fabric) or what we call half cuts, which is to the fold of the fabric on the bolt.  Most of the fabric is 45 to 54 inches in width and we will cut the number of inches required either in full cuts or in half cuts. In cutting fabric for a particular piece we allow 3 inches all the way around the stitched area. 

If you will let us know what the stitch count of the pattern is and what count of fabric you will be using we will compute what size fabric is needed.
