Silk & Ivory is 50% merino wool and 50% silk. It is a joy to stitch with-it has a soft sheen and a soft feel in your hand.  This thread can be used on 13, 14 or 18 mesh canvas.  It has a soft twist that must be maintained during stitching.   It's a favorite with our in-house teachers Margaret Bendig, Claudia Kilmit and Beverly Churchfield.

One skein contains 28.8 yards and covers approximately:

• 20 square inches on #13 canvas
• 19 square inches on #14 canvas
• 17 square inches on #16 canvas
• 15 square inches on #18 canvas
